"People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone." - Audrey Hepburn
Operating since 2017, our PHX program assists single, non-pregnant mothers and their children. Mother's must be employed full time.
To work alongside single mothers and their children, coming from previous environments involving homelessness and domestic violence. We operate to guide towards a life of wellness, empowerment, healing, and the alleviation of future poverty. We exist as a housing program, facilitating the needs of families, and giving a hand up in all areas of life.
Coming in the Spring of 2021, Lotus Loft will open Tampa Expansion program, carrying the same model tailored to the Tampa Bay Metro.
First – We aim to let all women in domestic violence know they have an advocate and someone to fight for them. We assist in filing for restraining orders and finding safe housing for them and their child(ren).
Second – We aim to see no mother homeless, therefore we serve as the solution to this problematic issue.
Our goal is to see these mothers go on to having independent stable lives to raise healthy children.
To see no family fall through. To see no family stand without an advocate. To see no family live without a path to prosperity.
To see every family built-up in their own distinct identity, with dignity, health, authenticity, freedom and resiliency.
THE CORE SIX
Economic - Many mothers we encounter are of limited means, possessing monetary hardships. We aim to assist these mothers finding the proper resources in terms of employment and financial stability.
Social - We receive numerous amounts of calls from unstable backgrounds. There have been times where exposure to illegal drugs, domestic violence circumstances, homeless shelters, etc., have occurred. We provide an environment for character growth and connect them with mentors, the leadership team of Lotus Loft, to have positive role models.
Health - A multitude of our mothers are in need of vital physical or mental healthcare services. We connect them with doctors, pediatricians, mental health counselors, drug rehab services, nutritionists, etc.
Education - We come into contact with several who do not have a strong educational foundation, or would like to continue their academics, yet lack the resources to do so. Through different community partners, we help them create a way to obtain whatever further education they choose.
Spiritual - Large numbers of our families have deep related traumas as the result of past abuse, in which healing must take place. Through our program being built around ministry (non-denominational), and the regular attendance of church, this enables a foundational background in which to build.
Lotus Little's - Centered around the development of a healthy child, according to First Things First, 90% of a child's brain is developed by age five. Lotus Loft is able to step in at this important time.

STEPS TO APPLY FOR HOUSING
Before moving into our housing program, the applicant must complete three extensive in-person interviews with our Housing Director and / or President to assess the situation. After the first intake, the applicant will be handed the Application for Housing.
For the second intake, the application will be received and submitted to the Board of Directors for determination, therefore the applicant must bring all documentation required (such as: proof of employment, identification, etc.).
After all information is verified, if approved, we finalize move in date, and the logistics needed for entry into program.
*Housing Applications are determined on a case by case basis only, and PRMI reserves the right to do as the Board of Directors see fit for the good of the ministry.
